At the Global Institute for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship (GISIE), we believe the world’s most intractable problems—poverty, inequality, youth unemployment, and exclusion—are not only solvable, but must be solved through a new kind of thinking: creative, collaborative, courageous.”

Great thinkers have reminded the world that while globalism is under siege, it is not dead. And we agree. Though the global landscape is shifting—fractured by political divides, weakened by broken systems, and unsettled by social and economic crises—there remains an undeniable truth: our future depends on our collective ability to reimagine the world, together. GISIE is more than an institution. It is a platform, a movement, and a commitment to building bridges across geographies, generations, and ideologies. Inspired by the boundary-breaking spirit of global thinkers and local innovators, we are determined to ignite minds, amplify local solutions, and scale transformative ideas. Through social innovation and entrepreneurship, we empower changemakers to challenge the status quo and become catalysts for transformation in their communities and beyond.

Our work is grounded in the belief that no geography, tradition, or institution should restrain bold ideas. We dare to train, equip, and mobilize leaders from underrepresented communities. We convene the usual and unusual suspects—community builders, tech disruptors, village innovators, and city changemakers. We build inclusive spaces that foster the kind of creativity and imagination needed to solve complex, systemic issues. We believe that the answers the world seeks already exist—but they are often hidden in plain sight, buried in communities that are unheard, or trapped in minds that have been denied opportunity. At GISIE, our mission is to uncover, nurture, and unleash these answers through education, research, collaboration, and community empowerment.

Let the cynics debate the end of globalization—we will build a new global movement from the ground up. Let others lament broken systems—we will design better ones. Let the future be uncertain—we will lead with imagination, courage, and innovation.
